AXG Mining (ASX: AXC) has revealed some board changes with the appointment of Guy Le Page as a non-executive director, while chairman Alex Bajada will step down from his position with the company.
Le Page’s other directorships include non-executive director of Palace Resources, Red Sky Energy (ASX: ROG), Tasman Resources (ASX: TAS), Soil Sub Technology (ASX: SOI), Fission Energy (ASX: FIS) and Eden Energy (ASX: EDE).
He is currently a director and corporate adviser of RM Corporate Finance, specialising in resources.
Le Page is actively involved in a range of corporate initiatives from mergers and acquisitions, and initial public offerings to valuations, consulting and corporate advisory roles.
He was head of research at Morgan Stockbroking Limited (Perth) prior to joining Tolhurst Noall as a corporate advisor in July of 1998.
As head of research, Le Page was responsible for the supervision of all industrial and resources research.
Prior to entering the stockbroking industry, Le Page spent 10 years as an exploration and mining geologist in Australia, Canada and the United States.
His experience spans gold and base metal exploration and mining geology, and he has acted as a consultant to private and public companies.
